Hello Hazel!
This resource is intended for users who have already set up Okta Verify on one device.
If you do not have Okta Verify on any other device, please refer to this resource!
If you already have Okta Verify set up on another device, please navigate to the relevant device instructions listed in this resource (steps below for Macbook and iPad).
PLEASE ADD OKTA VERIFY TO ALL OF YOUR HAZEL DEVICES
Adding Okta Verify to your Macbook
- Click the Command/Spacebar keys simultaneously on your keyboard and type “Okta” in the search bar that pops up.

- Click Enter to open “Okta Verify” or select it from the app option that appears under the search bar.

- On your Macbook, in the top right bar near your battery status and time is an icon with a circle and check mark.

- Click that and select Show Okta Verify
- Click that and select Show Okta Verify

- Next you'll see the pop-up pictured below.

- Choose "Add account from another device"
You will see this screen prompting you to enter a code:

- Now Open the Okta Verify Application on your other device, the one you already have Okta Verify on. (This is probably your phone)

- Select the Hazel Account (You probably only have one here)
Scroll down and select “Add Account to Another Device”
Click Allow

- Type the code found under the QR into the "enter code" box on your Macbook

- Keep your device handy! You will need it in the next step.

Input the new PIN shown on your Mac, on your other device
You are done with the mobile device, now return to your macbook

- Enable Touch ID

- Select add fingerprint if this option pops upAnother Window pops up, select add fingerprint

- If already have a fingerprint saved in your mac, SKIP TO STEP 20
Input computer password to add fingerprint
Tap the little circle key on your keyboard until it says “Done”
You can close this screen now

- Next, you'll be taken back to the Okta Verify window

- Select “I’ve added a fingerprint”.
Complete! You can hit the red circle in the upper left corner to close.

Adding Okta Verify to your iPads
- Click the Command/Spacebar keys simultaneously on your keyboard and type “Okta” in the search bar that pops up.

- Click Enter to open “Okta Verify” or select it from the app option that appears under the search bar.

- Click that and select Show Okta Verify
- Click that and select Show Okta Verify
Click “arrow” to right of your name
Click “Add account to New Device”
Authenticate using TouchID
You should see a screen like this:

- Now open the Okta Verify App on your iPad and Choose Organization

- Keep your Macbook handy! You'll need it in the next step
Select “Add Account from Another Device”
Select “Scan QR Code”
Scan the QR code displayed on your Laptop
Use this 6 digit code from your iPad and input back on your Laptop
When you see this screen, you can go back to your iPad

- IMPORTANT: Enable TouchID or FaceID (depending on the device).
