The Hazel Health teletherapy program is Hazel’s early assessment, response, and treatment approach to ensure students’ mental health needs are met. If a student is struggling with their mental health, a teacher, guardian, counselor, school nurse, or other staff members can refer the student to a Hazel therapist. Students can also self-refer to a Hazel therapist. Hazel’s licensed mental health care team can:
- Schedule ongoing, short-term therapy visits for coping with everything from anxiety, depression, and grief to peer and family relationships and bullying
- Provide families with care management and referrals to local resources for continuity of care
- Communicate with families, local health providers, and school staff about outcomes and next steps when appropriate
Hazel’s qualified mental health professionals provide weekly teletherapy sessions for students who need additional care. Providers support the transition from Hazel therapy services to community providers.
