- What hours is Hazel available at school and at home? Does Hazel schedule appointments?

Hazel visits at School are available during the hours that the health office is open.

For urgent care needs, Hazel serves students within minutes of a school staff member requesting a Hazel visit; there is no need to schedule an appointment.

Hazel at Home visits are available during the school year from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in your local time zone.

We start at 7:00 am so that families can access medical care before school when they are making the critical decision whether to send their child to school when they are not feeling well. 

Guardians can send a message about their child to Hazel at any time.

Hazel will respond during between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm local time, and it may take up to 1 business day to respond. The guardian will receive a text message with a link to log in when Hazel has responded to their message.

NOTE: School districts may provide Hazel services during the summer as well from both school and home. Hazel services are not available on major holidays.
