After 3 failed login attempts, your MacBook will prompt you to password reset
If you are not seeing the password reset option, reboot and try again!
STEP 1
click "Restart and show password reset options"
(The screen will go dark for a second)
STEP 2
The computer will boot to the password reset prompt. You will need a recovery key to move to the next step. Please reach out to Hazel IT to get beyond this point!

STEP 3
Type in the recovery key and click "Next"
STEP 4
Select your account and click "Next"
STEP 5
Create your new password and click "Next"
("Password hint" is optional)
STEP 6
Reboot the computer
STEP 7
Once the computer has finished rebooting, Kandji will sync your new password. Local User password is the password created at STEP 5. Type it in, and click "Sync password"
Once your password syncs, the computer will load your desktop, and you are all set!
