Physical Health
If you would like to send a message to a provider about a past visit, you can got to "Visits" and click "View All" to see the past Physical Health Visits that you have started. Click on the specific visit, then "Messages" to send a message to a provider for that visit.
General Chat
Initiators can use the General Chat feature to communicate with the Hazel support team about immediate needs for physical health visits, such as:
- Student with pending consent needs a Hazel visit
- A replenishment of inventory is needed such as medication or bandaids
Initiators will see a visual notification when they have received a message. Tap on the grey word bubble in the bottom right corner to open the chat and send and view messages.
Mental Health
Through the Hazel application, on the iPad or Web Dashboard, you can message Hazel therapists directly. You can provide updates, notify the therapist if a student is running late, and request to reschedule or cancel a visit.

When a therapist replies to your message or request you will hear an audible notification, and you will see that you have an unread message in the Messages section of your app dashboard.
Messaging therapists through the Web Dashboard
To message a therapist through the Web Dashboard, click "Visits," then click the specific visit. You are looking to message the therapist about. View new messages in the "Messages" tab.
