Hello IMs, AMs, CSMs, and Initiators!
See below for info on how to make sure the school device is set up correctly after training so that initiators don't have any trouble when they're ready to initiate real visits.
Click here for a video demonstration of this process, or continue reading below for step-by-step instructions.
First Step -- Check the login screen
If the login screen resembles the image below, it means that initiators will not be able to access the Hazel app. They won't be able to log in or initiate visits.
** See "How to fix the issue" below for how to fix this issue **
If their screen looks like this next image, they will be able to login successfully but they have the "Server Selector" toggled on when it should be toggled off.
** See "How to fix the issue" below for info about toggling that off. **
Second Step -- Have them try to log in
If you forget what the screen is supposed to look like and you don't have this resource handy, you can always have them try to login before you leave the school/ call!
Every initiator going through training should have a Hazel account with permission to enter the Health Center app. So if they can't log in, that's a pretty good indicator that their device isn't in the right mode.
How to fix the issue
If you've come to the conclusion that the device isn't in the right mode, or you see that the "server selector" is visible on their screen, you'll need to go into settings to fix it.
Click on: General Settings > Scroll down to the Hazel App > Toggle off/on the Server Selector > Go back into the app and make the necessary changes
** See "How to know the issue is resolved" below for a screenshot of the correct login screen **
NOTE: If you have to turn the server selector "on" to fix the issue, make sure you go back in and toggle it off before you let the initiator go!
How to know the issue is resolved
The image below is exactly how their login screen should look. There should be a blue button in the upper right corner that says "Demo" and nothing else in that area. When they enter their username and password, they will be able to access their dashboard:
