Hello Users!
Please refer to the steps below if you've forgotten your Hazel password, or if you're attempting to sign into your Hazel account for the first time.
NOTE: If you are having trouble logging into your Hazel account, please do not continue trying to sign in. After 5 failed attempts, you will be locked out of your account for 30 minutes.
The images below show the process on the web, but the steps are the same through the app.
Step 1
Navigate to https://my.hazel.co/school/signin, enter your email address, then click "Next"
Step 2
On the next page, click "Forgot Password?"
Step 3
Enter the email tied to your Hazel Account on the next page (will be the same as your school email).
Step 4
Next, you will see a pop-up indicating that an email will be sent to that address.
You may now close that window and navigate to your email inbox.
Step 5
You will receive an email with a link to reset your password that looks like the image below
- The email is valid for 1 hour, and then it will expire
- Once expired, you will have to click “Forgot Password?” again to get a new reset email.
- If you don't see the email, check your spam folder
Step 6
When you click on that link, you will be brought to a page where you can enter a new password.
Enter, then re-enter, your new password and click "Change Password"
Passwords must be at least 12 characters in length; there are no special character requirements.
Step 7
When you have successfully created a new password, you will see the pop-up below.
At that time, you can click the "Sign In" link to navigate back to the sign in page where you can enter your school email address and new password to access your dashboard.
If you come across this error message:
That means that the password you chose is too easy for someone to guess.
Try choosing a password with an uncommon word, as well as a series of numbers and symbols.
