Navigating Guardian Referrals on Your Dashboard

We’re thrilled to announce an enhancement to the Hazel app! The referral dashboard will display guardian referrals.Your district must have the correct permissions enabled for this update to be available.  

Here’s how this update will benefit you:

• Stay Informed and Act Quickly: Keep track of all referrals to better support students, helping to improve both their academic and emotional outcomes.
• Provide Extra Support: Guardian referrals can alert you to students you may have otherwise missed, giving you an opportunity to intervene sooner.
• Prepare for School Visits in Advance: Access referral information ahead of time, so you can be ready for upcoming in-school visits with the student.

When a guardian submits a referral, you’ll now see it conveniently appear under the “Submitted” column.

In order for a guardian referral to appear on your dashboard, a valid consent form must be on file. 

Click on the "Referred By" filter to easily view "guardian referrals" or "school referrals"

Please note this update will include at home and at school referrals if applicable to your district.
