Navigating Historical Referrals

We’re excited to share an enhancement to the Hazel app that will make managing student referrals even easier! You can now view a student’s historical referrals directly within their profile. Please note: your district must have the correct permissions enabled for you to access certain parts of this update.

Here’s how this update will streamline your workflow:

• Eliminate Duplicate Referrals: Quickly check if a referral has already been submitted for a student, saving you time and effort.
• Stay Informed: Easily review the details of your past referral by clicking into it, giving you a clear reminder of the reason for each referral.
• Maintain a Comprehensive Care History: Print all past referrals and add them to the student’s file for a complete record of their care history. 

Navigate to the "Students" tab on your dashboard and in the search box, type in a students name

Once a student’s profile is pulled up you will be able to see their past referrals listed on their profile

If you have the necessary permissions enabled, you will also see referrals made by other referrers, including guardians. Please note: for privacy reasons, you will not be able to to click into these referrals to view any details 

Click the eye icon on your referrals to view the details of the referral 

Once the details are displayed, you can also use this window to print referrals by clicking the print icon 🖨️ in the right corner of this view

Use printed referrals to share with guardians or add to the student's file to keep track of the student's full care history.
