- What if there’s a need for additional care after a Hazel visit?

If the Hazel Health provider sees a need for long term care, Hazel provides up to 3 recommendations for care based on the family’s ability to pay and preferences.

If Hazel identifies a need for expedited care, a provider will refer your child to an emergency room, doctor, or specialist near you.

NOTE: Visits with non-Hazel providers are not part of the Hazel program and would need to be covered by the family or insurance.
