- Hazel and Prescriptions

Hazel can fill an ongoing prescription when there is a gap in care (e.g., family is in between insurance or local PCP cannot fill it out promptly). However, for chronic conditions students should go to their medical home with their local PCP. Hazel can also work with a student’s PCP to support monthly prescriptions in specific circumstances. Hazel does not prescribe certain monthly medications, such as ADHD medications or any controlled substances.
